dawn Coming Soon: Memoirs of a Girl on the Red Velvet Swing

Dawn Erin as The Swing Girl

Dawn Erin performed nightly for four years as the famed Girl On The Red Velvet Swing at The Old San Francisco Steakhouse, an 1890s-themed fine dining institution that served generations of Texans.

Sadly, the Steakhouses were closed several years ago and only memories remain .

Coming soon, a serialized account of life on the Swing that goes beyond the fishnets and feather boas, told by the girl who witnessed it all!

About Dawn Erin

Dawn Erin began writing as a child in Massachusetts.  At age nine she wrote and illustrated a children's book Dino's Dinner, about a dinosaur sharing his food with his friends.  At age twelve, prompted by a mad crush on the main character in Walter Farley's Black Stallion series, she wrote herself into The Black Stallion Revolts as said main character's girlfriend.  Both of these efforts are lost somewhere in the basement of her childhood home.  But her recently finished novel The Iron Horse is alive and kicking and actively seeking representation.  Dawn is also an actress and blues singer.  Her collaborative CD with French guitarist Marc Maza Transatlantic Alchemy will be available in Fall 2010.
